New and clean hotel, friendly staff, good choices in breakfast, and a lovely seasonal outdoor pool to relax after a day of exploring the city.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza in Marseille was a mixed experience. The Premium King Room with Sofa Bed I booked was quite spacious and well sound-proofed, which I appreciated. The modern design and cleanliness of the hotel were standout features. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice touch and had great opening hours that fit well into my schedule. I also enjoyed the high-quality breakfast options, with plenty of choices to start the day. There was no parking available when we arrived, quite disappointing, especially after a long drive. I had to find street parking a short distance away, which wasn't convenient, particularly with a child in tow. The surrounding area's lack of nearby dining options meant traveling was necessary to find decent places to eat, which could be a hassle for those without easy transport. Staff interactions were overall positive, but I encountered some unhelpfulness regarding parking, which left me wanting better service in that aspect.
